Since then, further enhancements and have made our machinist's language programming format one of the most liked user interfaces in the industry. No other programming format is easier to get started with and there is no trade-off of control capability for ease of programming.
ANILAM's conversational controls, namely, the 3000-series and the 3000 Commando, come with powerful programming tools to further simplify the programming. A wealth of useful canned cycles are available as well as the 3-mode calculator. The 3-mode calculator enables math and trigonometry calculation, right triangle calculation and general geometry calculation. The geometry calculator has many of the features available in CAM systems. The results can directly be made part of the program. Of course, programs are quickly verified by viewing the programmed tool path in the on-screen Draw mode. Already existing DXF file formats are readily transformed into ANILAM's conversational format by running them through our 3000M DXF converter utility.
The 4000- and 5000-series controls have conversational G-code. The program is in G-code but, you don't have to know G-codes to program them. Furthermore, an extensive menu of canned cycles allows you to generate the program just by responding to prompts. Another powerful programming tool is provided in the icon based shape editor. The shape editor provides the functionality of the geometry calculator plus it allows the operator to generate a combined shape from the results. In the case of G-code programming, the operator naturally has the option of parametric programming. As with the 3000M, already existing DXF file formats are readily transformed into ANILAM's conversational format by running them through our 5000M/6000M DXF converter utility.
The 5000-series and 6000-series controls even have an integrated CAM utility to help you generate any program just by defining the part and specifying a few parameters. ANILAM's assisted G-coding concept truly makes G-code programming easy for everyone.
The 6000-series controls are the standard in digital conversational CNC control systems. The integrated CPU, and the axes and spindle drive amplifiers are all combined in one convenient digital package. High speed machining is made fast, easy and accurate with the 6000-series control. The 6000-series control is the first CNC to offer both a true conversational programming format and a standard G-code format within the same system. Users have the option of writing programs in a conversational format or a G-code format, via the integrated 6000 CAM feature or imported directly from any external CAM system.ANILAM can provide basically any configuration from modules designed for integration by machine tool builders to complete bolt-on ready kits. The major components of an OEM-style configuration are the panel-mount console, with screen and keypad, and the computer chassis, with processing electronics. Kit-style configurations have enclosed console, bolt-on ready servo cabinet and quick-connect cabling.
